Removing moss
We firstly remove moss by scraping the tiles with specially designed scrapers for your roof tiles.
Pressure washing
Pressure washing is another option but is not recommended for all roof and tile types.
Treatments
After the roof is cleaned/scraped of any moss we then treat with a biocide that cleans the roof for up to a year and provents any further growths
Do you have a moss problem on your roofs?
Moss when wet is very heavy and not only puts un needed strain on the roof but also ruin the tiles water ways and allows the water to flow in places you don't want. This can lead to leaking and water damage.
Roof Scraping
We firstly scrape the roof off using a custom tile scraper profile, This is method can be very labour intensive and for a average 3 bedroom house can be 2 days of work.
Pressure Washing
After the hypochlorite das been left to dwell and then rinsed off, A biocide mix is then applied.
The biocide works into the surface and continues to clean the area of applications as well as preventing the biofilm from spawning up to a year guaranteed.
Future growths
If any marks begin to appear in the future it is important to get them treated right away as you will only need touching up with the second treatment to avoid a more costly job!
